Covid-19 Clinic Measure

Covid-19 Clinic Measures

The Huatuo Clinic takes the safety of our patients, students, and staff very seriously. Our Covid-19 clinic measure meets and exceeds those put forward by both the City of Calgary and the province of Alberta

Upon entry, every person is required to complete a prescreen form eliminating those exhibiting symptoms or at high risk of contracting as well as a temperature find any who may be exhibiting a fever. Those who do not have a mask will be provided with a sanitized mask and are required to wear it for the entirety of their time in the clinic.

While patients wait, they will be sitting 6ft apart and limited to the capacity of the room. Our front desk will be behind Plexiglas to protect everyone and touchless transactions are encouraged.

During your treatment, know that every one of our residents and specialists adheres to strict handwashing, room cleaning, and PPE requirements that meet or exceed those mandated. These measures are done every time a treatment room is used.

To prevent any transmission from within, we require that all our residents, staff, and specialists maintain a 6ft distance whenever possible and require mask-wearing at all times spent in the clinic. The clinic has also limited the number of personnel on the premises to better maintain social distancing.

  • Upon Entry – Masks are a requirement, temperatures checked, screening done.
  • Waiting room – 6 ft distance, Plexiglas barrier with the front desk, touchless payment encouraged.
  • Treatment Room – regular hand washing, masks worn by all practitioner’s minimum requirements, and high touch and treatment surfaces sanitized between every appointment.
  • Residents/Observers – 6 ft distance encouraged wherever possible, masks required by all in the clinic, isolated lunches, restricted numbers admitted.

If you have any questions regarding your upcoming appointments, please call or email.
